Periodic Revision
It is a mandatory inspection in accordance with Resolution 067 of 1995 of the Energy and Gas Regulation Commission (CREG), modified by CREG Resolution 059 of 2012.
The three stages of periodic revisions:
1. Revision
It is the mandatory and periodic inspection carried out by an accredited inspection body of the internal gas installation. It is the responsibility of the user, who is free to contract the review with Gases del Caribe S.A. E.S.P. or with any inspection body accredited to the ONAC.
It consists of different tightness, leak and operation tests to guarantee compliance with the required technical and safety conditions.
2. Repair
It is not possible to issue a certificate of conformity when the user must make adjustments to his installation to comply with technical regulations. In the event that the review finds faults or that the installation does not meet the defined standards, Gases del Caribe S.A. E.S.P. is obliged to suspend the service until the corresponding repair work is carried out and the standards defined in the technical regulations are met.
3. Certification
Once it is confirmed that the installation is technically safe and complies with all standards Gases del Caribe S.A. E.S.P. or the contracted inspection body, issues a conformity certificate or conformity inspection results report, a copy of which is delivered to the user and registered with Gases del Caribe S.A. E.S.P. (if it is issued by an organization), who in his role as distributor must guarantee that his users have this certificate.
